Senior Clinical Pharmacists

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy

- Current national licence

Desirable:

Board Certification or residency in clinical pharmacy

Experience:

- Not less than 7 years as a hospital pharmacist of which 5 years as a clinical pharmacist providing pharmaceutical care

Desirable:

Evidence of teaching/mentoring other pharmacists

Evidence of research activity

The city of Al Ain is close to the border of Oman, between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and it is known as the ‘Garden City’ of the Persian Gulf.

Al Ain Hospital, a highly specialised acute care and emergency hospital with 412 beds and 30 medical departments and divisions, is one of the two major hospitals in the Al Ain region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi belonging to the health system of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company SEHA. The hospital provides a wide range of general and specialist clinical services. It is also the base for medical education, training and research for two teaching hospitals from Europe and the UAE.
On the basis of an agreement with SEHA, the leading European health specialists Vienna Medical University and VAMED have been managing Al Ain Hospital since June 2007.
