Staff Nurses & Senior Staff Nurses

Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and
meeting the established standard of Nursing practice and performance. Demonstrate
leadership competency while in charge or acting as shift resource/team leader.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Provides total patient care as assigned.
- Plans and provides patient care according to the unit based standards and plan for providing care.
- Integrates transcultural principles into nursing care.
- Communicates and/ or documents all relevant information as per established standards.
- Maintains positive professional interpersonal relationships with patients amd their families, co-workers and other members of the Health Care Team.
- Serves on Nursing Affairs committees as assigned.
- Reports equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/ or reduction of supply inventory to Head Nurse or designee.
- Leads unit based Performance Improvement activities.
- Participates in patient education programs.
- Through self evaluation, identifies areas for professional development. Participates in relevant inservice and/ or continuing education.
- Contributes to development, implementation and evaluation of unit activities.
- Acts as a preceptor to new employees as assigned.
- Participates in and supports training and development of Saudi nursing s1:udentsa nd graduates.
- Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
- Participates in self and other's education, training and development, as applicable.
 -Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma in Registered Nursing
At least two years of post grad acute hospital experience i
Current Registered Nurse licensure
