Professional Placement ensures that all Physicians and Nurses are GMC/NMC registered.
We carry out background checks, educational review and work transcripts reviews. Furthermore, we always make it our duty to have at least two professional references on file. Both references need to be completed by the most recent employers. References will be verified at source.
Under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, Professional Placement applicants need to declare any criminal convictions or charges on their record. Applicants are therefore not entitled to withhold information about convictions, which for other purposes are 'spent' under the provision of the Act.
All candidates need to carry out a CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) check before starting an employment in the UK.
Professional Placement verifies candidate's health and fitness by use of an approved health questionnaire, to establish whether the applicant is physically and mentally of a high standard of health and has a sufficient level of fitness to be able to work as a nurse / physician in the UK.
A copy of the applicant's passport is always retained in our office to ensure the applicant's identity.
Professional Screening
All our candidates are interviewed over the phone or in person prior to be sent to a potential client. We take your job vacancy extremely serious and will not waste your time by offering a candidate with too little medical experience in your requested clinical specialty. We also ensure that all our candidates have a high command of the English language to avoid misunderstanding when taking orders from a superior at work in the UK.
In addition, all our medical staff is committed to a strict Code and Disciplinary Procedure laid out by the Nursing & Midwifery Council in the UK.
Once you have decided to take the candidate on board, we will organize appropriate contracts to finalize the placement. We will also assist in the preparation of the work permit and take every necessary step to deliver the candidate at the agreed starting date to your institution
